Learning Objectives

Know the main theoretical structures and the research practises of the Intercultural pedagogy; estimate the advantages and problems of multicultural societies; evaluate programs which support Intercultural dialogue in different educational contexts; plan training programs aim at appraise the difference in multicultural contexts.

Detailed Course Content

Epistemic figures and evolutionary lines of the Intercultural pedagogy; multiculturalism, Interculture and educational processes; the "stranger" between xenos and hostis; ethics of tolerance and the pedagogy of hospitality; culture, dialogue, pluralism and cooperation referring to educational processes in multicultural societies; The process of social integration and its problems with regard to educational policies; intercultural training of the experts in education.
