Learning Objectives

The course aims to provide theoretical knowledge and methodological skills aimed at the design and organization of educational research activities in training contexts. Students will have to know the main approaches and models of design and organization of educational research, the techniques and tools suitable for their evaluation.


Course Structure

The course will be conducted in a traditional way with laboratory exercises, which will have an exclusively educational function (they will affect the teaching, not the final grade), in the first phase of the course, and oriented to the experimentation of the flipped classroom in the second part of the course.


Detailed Course Content

The topics to be discussed and studied are: approaches and models of educational design and research; the planning of research phases in educational and training contexts; choice and construction of survey tools; characters and elements of design of evaluation paths. Furthermore, examples of research, experiences and tools applied in different educational contexts will be presented.
