Simona Monteleone has a degree in Economics at the University of Catania and has the PhD in economics at the University of Naples. She is a researcher in Political Economy and professor in the Department of Education at the University of Catania. Her research topics are: informal economy; brain drain; youth unemployment, crowdfunding. She is author of several scientific publications on national and international journals. She participates in an International Project, CUPESSE, on youth unemployment. She is married.
