Expected Learning Outcomes

Students will learn economic theory and tools by understanding the relationship between tourism, economy, society and the environment. They will acquire independent judgment, communication skills, analytical skills in the tourism sector, thanks also to frequent meetings with external experts organized in order to allow students to actively participate. Furthermore, the didactic and verification methods will allow a better learning ability and the acquisition of the ability to apply economic and business reasoning to empirical reality.

Course Structure

Frontal lessons;

Meetings with tourism industry experts;

Visits to companies in the tourism sector.

Required Prerequisites

an adequate initial preparation of basic mathematics tools and economic principles is required.
