Learning Objectives

• PSICOLOGIA DEL LAVORO E METODI DI CAREER COUNSELING

  The course aims to illustrate the main aspects that characterize the psychology of work.
  Through the topics covered, which refer to both individual characteristics (interests, values, skills) and environmental ones (organizational climate and culture, safety at work, psychosocial risks), it will be possible to outline the complex dynamics that exist between people, groups and context organization and their effects on the individual perception of work experience.
  Approaches to career support and career prospects planning will also be analyzed. The theoretical tools acquired will allow to deepen the activities that characterize the career counseling interventions. At the end of the course, students will have to know the theories and models of work psychology and have acquired the conceptual tools that, in professional practice, allow them to interpret their own and others' work activity in terms of potential and criticality

• LABORATORIO DI CAREER COUNSELING

  Students will be introduced to the tools that characterize career guidance and career counseling interventions through active participation and teamwork. At the end of the workshop, students must have acquired the skills and techniques that allow:

  • reflection on one's own and others' vocational identity;

  • the analysis of strengths and weaknesses;

  • the definition of potential and desirable professional scenarios

Course Structure

• PSICOLOGIA DEL LAVORO E METODI DI CAREER COUNSELING

  The course includes lectures. The eventual delivery of the course in mixed or remote mode will not modify the contents of the course.
  Knowledge of the basic contents of general psychology are the required prerequisite

• LABORATORIO DI CAREER COUNSELING

  The laboratory provides practical activities aimed at exploring professional planning.

  Attendance at least 50% of the lessons is the minimum prerequisite to be able to participate in the workshop

Detailed Course Content

• PSICOLOGIA DEL LAVORO E METODI DI CAREER COUNSELING

  The program includes an in-depth study of the main issues that qualify the work activity. Specifically: health and safety; motivational theories; working values; vocational identity; career guidance and support; occupational stress; mobbing.

• LABORATORIO DI CAREER COUNSELING

  The exercises will cover: professional interests, motivation, the analysis of resources and constraints, decision-making and planning skills. Attendance is compulsory
