Academic Year 2023/2024 - Teacher: SEBASTIANO DI BELLAExpected Learning Outcomes
The laboratory activity, with orientation-professionalizing, has the general objective of offering the student the opportunity to experiment with the methods of investigation presented during the theoretical lessons. In addition, it aims to promote students with soft skills that may prove useful in their future careers.
The expected learning objectives are as follows:
Knowledge and understanding (DD1)
- Knowing theories and models in the pedagogical area to interpret educational and training events in historical-evolutionary and politico-economic perspective (of1)
- Knowing the theories and methodologies of empirical research (of2)
- Know a repertoire of technical-operational methods and tools adapted to formal, informal, non-formal processes (of3)
- Linking the theoretical and methodological contents learned to the interpretation of past, present and future events and processes (of4)
- Knowing how to synthesize the different approaches present in the theories of education and training (of5)
- Evaluate the relevance of the theories studied with respect to the situations faced and the actions managed and/or observed (of6)
- Know how to communicate and share the analysis of events from the knowledge of their professional field (of7)

The workshop focuses on the theoretical and method aspects of psychiatric and psychosocial rehabilitation of the residential type; personalized educational-rehabilitation plans, aimed at encouraging the development of the user’s personality and its recovery to daily life.
The main topics will be:
- The pedagogist and educator in the therapeutic and rehabilitation community
- Mental health as defined by the WHO
- Reference to the main diagnostic manuals
- The ICF - Individual, clinical, empirical and global approach
- Mental care and the work of Basaglia
- Le CTA -Assisted therapeutic communities
- The multidisciplinary team
- The custom design in CTA
- Tools and techniques of Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Educational and rehabilitation activities
