Detailed Course Content

The aim of course is to provide the main theories linked to developmental and educational psychology and focused on the processes connected to the development of individual from the birth to the adolescence. To the end of the present course students will be able to know the specific terminology and the contents of developmental and educational psychology, to apply them in professional job, to collaborate to the application of programs and activities useful to wellbeing of individuals. In detail,

1) Development of perception, memory, cognition, meta-cognition, personality, language, morality.

2) Creativity in theoretical and empirical perspectives and applications to socio-educational field.

3) Social categorization and its psychological processes.

4) The representation of motherhood and fatherhood in life span.
