Presentazione del rapporto Unicef-OIM-UNHCR

Lunedì 9 Dicembre dalle 15:30 alle 19:00 presso il Dipartimento di Scienze della Formazione sarà presentato il rapporto Unicef-OIM-UNHCR "Ad un Bivio. La transizione all'età adulta dei minori stranieri non accompagnati in Italia” cui ha contribuito il team di ricerca sociologica del Dipartimento di scienze della formazione curando la rilevazione sul territorio siciliano. 

In un periodo in cui la cronaca anche accademica restituisce, in alcuni e isolati casi, la parte più insostenibilmente deteriore del pensiero umano, l'Università di Catania, il Dipartimento di Scienze della Formazione ed il gruppo di ricerca coordinato da Liana Daher  ha contribuito a realizzare un lavoro che oltre alla rilevanza dal punto di vista scientifico assolve alla funzione di esposizione e riflessione su quei fatti sociali - come la transizione all’età adulta dei giovani minori stranieri non accompagnati - che alcune volte vengono pericolosamente semplificati se non, addirittura, mistificati.

On Monday 9 December, from 15:30 to 19:00 at the Department of Education, will be presented  the Unicef-OIM-UNHCR report "At a Crossroads. The transition to adulthood of unaccompanied foreign minors in Italy”. The sociological research team of the Department of Education,  leaded the research activity in Sicily.

Even when even the academic news reports, in some isolated cases, the most unsustainably part of human thought, the University of Catania, the Department of Education and the research group coordinated by Liana Daher contributed to to carry out a work that in addition to its relevance from the scientific point of view, fulfills the function of critical reflection on social facts - such as the transition to adulthood of young unaccompanied foreign minors - that sometimes are dangerously simplified if not even mystified
