- Knowledge and understanding (DD1). Acquire theoretical knowledge of the main models of management, educational leadership, educational and training organizations, organizational change, organizational well-being, and ethics.
- Applying knowledge and understanding (DD2). Apply management models and methodologies to the design, management, and evaluation of educational and training interventions.
- Making judgements (DD3). Critically analyze organizational issues, assess their ethical and social implications, and identify strategies for improvement.
- Communication skills (DD4). Communicate effectively with work teams and stakeholders using appropriate technical and professional terminology.
- Learning skills (DD5). Develop autonomous learning and engage in continuous professional development in response to changes affecting educational organizations.
Course Structure
Teaching will consist of lectures supported by multimedia presentations, together with guided discussions of case studies and scientific articles. Active participation by students will be encouraged to foster critical thinking and the practical application of the knowledge and skills acquired during the course.
Required Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of General Psychology and Research Methodology.

Detailed Course Content
The course will focus on the analysis of the main characteristics of educational and training organizations and the management models applied to socio-educational contexts. Particular attention will be devoted to educational leadership, the planning and management of organizational processes, and the main intervention approaches, with a specific focus on training, consultancy, and action research. The course will also examine organizational change, well-being in the workplace, group management, decision-making processes, and conflict management. Special emphasis will be placed on ethics, social responsibility, inclusion, and self-empowerment, highlighting their role in promoting effective, sustainable, and quality-oriented educational organizations.
The course contributes to the achievement of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering the knowledge and skills required for the design, management, and evaluation of educational and training organizations according to the principles of sustainability, inclusion, and social responsibility. In particular, the course contributes to SDG 4 – Quality Education, by promoting professional competencies and lifelong learning; SDG 5 – Gender Equality, by encouraging inclusive leadership models and equal opportunities; SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, by addressing organizational well-being, skills development, and the quality of working environments; SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities, by promoting inclusive organizational practices that value diversity; and SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by developing competencies in governance, ethical leadership, participation in decision-making processes, and the responsible management of educational and training organizations.
