THERE. TEACHING OF MATHEMATICS 1 AND 2 WITH LABORATORY 3Module MATHEMATICS TEACHING LABORATORY 2
Academic Year 2026/2027 - Teacher: LUIGI BERNARDIExpected Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to analyse and propose mathematical activities for primary school, identifying their content and educational potential.
Course Structure
Individual and small-group practical activities, with active student participation and whole-class discussion.
Required Prerequisites
Basic mathematical knowledge acquired at school is sufficient.
Attendance of Lessons
Direct participation in the activities is central to the workshop. Attendance requirements are those established by the degree programme.
Detailed Course Content
Exploration of games, problems and materials for primary school, through activities involving numbers, logic and reasoning. Discussion of possible classroom applications.
Textbook Information
Materials provided during the workshop and OILER resources (www.oiler.education). Further reading is listed in the Mathematics Education 2 module.
Course Planning
