Guido NICOLOSI
Guido Nicolosi is associate professor in Sociology of culture and communication at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Catania, where he was also Chair of the MA in "Sociology of networks, information and innovation" from 2018 to 2023. He got his PhD at Wageningen University and Research (NL). Member of several national and international research teams, he has been a visiting scholar at the universities of Exeter and Aberdeen (GB), Paris (F) and Madrid (ES). Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Studies (IEA) in Nantes, he is member of the scientific board of the Research Network in Sociology of culture of the European Sociological Association (ESA). In 2019 he was visiting professor at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. From 2023 is membre associé à l’étranger du GSRL- CNRS/EPHE. In 2025 he has been directeur d'études invité at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes of Paris and he has been nominated member of the scientific board of the Alliance Internationale des Universités Méditerranéennes Francophones (AIME).
