Learning Objectives

The main aims of the cours are:

to promote learning of the main theories and topics of general psychology. In detail, the course will introduce the use of specific terminology of general psychology, will propose the integration of the different factors that characterize the psychological process and thinking styles. At the end of the course students will have to know and critically analyze the main topics of general psychology, moreover, they will demonstrate to know how to apply contents in relation to future professional activities.

The course will be carried out by means of lectures. Slides and videos will be used


Detailed Course Content

The following topics will be depeen:

intelligence and thinking styles; scientific methodology in psychology; sensation and perception; attention and conscience; learning; memory; language; thought; intelligence; motivation; emotions; physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
