During the official exam sessions, the exam will consist of an oral examination.
Students enrolled in CINAP may contact the teacher by email to agree on any compensatory and/or dispensatory measures based on the educational objectives and specific needs.
The following assessment criteria are used to evaluate students during the examination:
- Adequacy of expression with regard to content and methodology
- Lexical accuracy
- Breadth of knowledge and thematic awareness
- Ability to engage in critical in-depth analysis
- Ability to make interdisciplinary connections
- Ability to elaborate on and reprocess acquired knowledge
- Ability to transfer knowledge to operational contexts
Based on these criteria, grades will be awarded on a scale of 30, according to the following scheme:
Fail
- Knowledge, awareness, understanding, and lexical accuracy in the presentation of topics: significant gaps and inaccuracies.
- Ability to analyse, synthesise, develop, and elaborate on content: negligible, with inappropriate generalisations and inadequate connections and analysis.
- Ability to transfer knowledge to operational contexts and make interdisciplinary connections: inadequate, with inappropriate connections and applications.
18–20
- Knowledge, awareness, understanding, and lexical accuracy in the presentation of topics: barely sufficient, with extremely basic knowledge and evident shortcomings.
- Ability to analyse, synthesise, develop, and elaborate on content: barely sufficient.
- Ability to transfer knowledge to operational contexts and make interdisciplinary connections: barely sufficient and at an extremely basic level.
21–23
- Knowledge, awareness, understanding, and lexical accuracy in the presentation of topics: slightly above the minimum satisfactory level.
- Ability to analyse, synthesise, develop, and elaborate on content: slightly above the minimum satisfactory level.
- Ability to transfer knowledge to operational contexts and make interdisciplinary connections: slightly above the minimum satisfactory level.
24–26
- Knowledge, awareness, understanding, and lexical accuracy in the presentation of topics: satisfactory, with adequate lexical accuracy.
- Ability to analyse, synthesise, develop, and elaborate on content: satisfactory analytical and synthesis skills; topics are presented coherently.
- Ability to transfer knowledge to operational contexts and make interdisciplinary connections: satisfactory to good, with appropriate interdisciplinary connections and applications to practical fields.
27–29
- Knowledge, awareness, understanding, and lexical accuracy in the presentation of topics: very good, with only minor inaccuracies.
- Ability to analyse, synthesise, develop, and elaborate on content: very good, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
- Ability to transfer knowledge to operational contexts and make interdisciplinary connections: very good, with fully appropriate and well-developed interdisciplinary connections and applications to practical fields.
30–30 with honours
- Knowledge, awareness, understanding, and lexical accuracy in the presentation of topics: excellent.
- Ability to analyse, synthesise, develop, and elaborate on content: excellent.
