
Valentina PERCIAVALLE
Valentina Perciavalle, is a confirmed researcher, from the academic year 2023-2024 for the S.S.D. PAED-02/A (Didactics and special pedagogy), from the academic year 2008-2009 to 2022-2023, for the S.S.D. M-EDF/02 (Methods and Didactics of Sports Activities), at the University of Catania. In the academic year 2016-2017 she obtained the qualification as Associate Professor for the sector 06/N2. Since taking up service she has been a member of the Department of Educational Processes, now Department of Educational Sciences, of the University.
The lines of research concern the scholastic and extra-scholastic inclusion of people with BES; the inclusive methodologies and strategies for people with intellectual and sensorial disabilities; the play in nursery and kindergarten; the play activity as an inclusive strategy for children with disabilities.
From the academic year 2020-2021 to 2022-2023 she was PI_D3, Scientific Manager of the departmental unit of Educational Sciences, of the interdepartmental project PIACERI Vis In MusA
In 2021 she was President of the Commission for the selection for admission to the training course for the achievement of the specialization for educational support activities for students with disabilities (TFA), relating to the Primary school level
In 2022 she was President of the Commission for the selection for admission to the training course for the achievement of the specialization for educational support activities for students with disabilities (TFA), relating to the Infant school level
From 03/04/2022 to 11/04/2022 she was a Visiting Researcher at the University of Valladolid (Valladolid and Palencia campuses), deepening research topics on "Special Pedagogy and Inclusive Teaching Strategies".
From 19/04/2023 to 20/05/2023 he took part in an international mobility as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Valladolid (Valladolid, Palencia and Segovia campuses), to analyze some objectives of the PIACERI VIS IN MUSA Project, and studied the following topics in depth "Characteristics that make cultural heritage more accessible for users with disabilities and construction/administration of a questionnaire on the accessibility and usability of cultural heritage to school students and their parents"
From 2023 he takes part in the Health Operational Plan Project, Trajectory 4, action line 4.1: Creation of Hubs in Life Sciences (POS - T4)
In 2024, within the Department Council of the month of October, he receives a formal assignment from Dr. Jonida Balla of the University of Tirana, as part of the ESI Postdoctoral Program (12 months) "SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES IN A POST CRISIS PERIOD”
