
Roberta PIAZZA
Roberta Piazza, PhD in Educazione, è Professoressa Ordinaria di Pedagogia Generale e Sociale presso il Dipartimento di Scienze della Formazione dell’Università di Catania. Insegna Educazione di comunità, Educazione degli adulti e Progettazione educativa (corso di laurea magistrale).
È stata Presidente del Corso di Laurea in Scienze dell’educazione e della formazione. Dal 2017 al 2023 ha diretto il Centro universitario di ricerca sul community engagement – CURE (Community University Research Engagement). Dal 2017 al 2019 è stata Delegata del Rettore per la Formazione continua e il Lifelong learning. Dal 2023 è Vice Coordinatrice del Centro di Alta Formazione per Insegnanti dell’Università di Catania (ASFI) (www.centroasfi.unict.it).
Dal 2014 è Direttrice associata per l’Europa del Pascal Observatory (Place Management, Social Capital and Learning Region, www.pascalobservatory.org), coordinatrice del Research Network 4 “National Strategies for Lifelong Learning” dell’ASEM Education and Research Hub for Lifelong Learning (ASEM LLL Hub) (http://asemlllhub.org/researchnetworks), e componente del Comitato scientifico della Learning City UNESCO di Lucca.
È membro del Direttivo della RUIAP (Rete Universitaria Italiana per l’Apprendimento Permanente) per il periodo 2018–2025 (https://www.ruiap.it/chi-siamo/organi/).
Dal 2020 è revisore e membro del Panel SH3 per la Commissione Europea (ERC Advanced Grant) ed esperta peer reviewer per il sistema nazionale di valutazione (RePRISE). Svolge attività come esperta disciplinare e di sistema per agenzie di valutazione universitaria a livello nazionale (ANVUR) e internazionale (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P. (FCT), Portogallo; The Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA); Education University di Hong Kong – Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programme). Svolge il ruolo di External Expert Advisory Board in progetti internazionali (Horizon Europe).
Ha partecipato a numerosi progetti europei riguardanti le learning city, l’apprendimento permanente, l’orientamento e il riconoscimento degli apprendimenti pregressi, l’apprendistato e la formazione dei docenti.
